It’s an exciting time for cinema all over the world.

The digital revolution is opening doors to generations of new film makers. We are now able to create drastically higher-quality films than in the past and, more importantly, bypass the gatekeepers of the industry to deliver them to more people than ever.

When you combine the evolution in digital cameras with cheaper and better editing software, wider availability of music/audio libraries and the increasing speed and data capacity of the Internet, you create a whole new playing field for both film making and film watching.

This change has already begun, as Hollywood no longer widely finances films directed at older audiences — that is left to CBS and ABC.

For young, non-institutional film makers, the Internet will be the chief medium for delivery of their products.
